Applications for the NPQ Autumn 2025 cohort are now closed. The DfE have not yet released information about Autumn 2026 but if you are interested in any of the NPQ programmes for the next cohort, please complete the Expression of Interest form. We will be in contact with you when further information is available and when details have been confirmed by the DfE.

Requesting a TRN
If there is an NPQ that you would like to undertake and you do not have a TRN, please use the following link to request one; https://www.gov.uk/guidance/teacher-reference-number-trn and go to the ‘Request a TRN’ section.
Please note, for most NPQ's, only qualified teachers are eligible to apply however there are circumstances when non qualified teachers are able to undertake a programme eg NPQLBC or NPQEYL.
