West Sussex Teaching School Hub

GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

About GLF Schools Trust

GLF Teaching School Hub is proud to be a part of the GLF Schools Trust;  a growing multi-academy trust of 42 schools, including 7 Secondary Schools and 35 Primary Schools.

The trust currently serves over 17,000 people aged 2 to 19 in a diverse array of settings, with around 2,500 employees. Our schools are in Oxfordshire, Berkshire, Hampshire, Surrey, West Sussex and the London Boroughs of Wandsworth and Croydon.

The governance structure for the Trust has been developed to support the culture of the Trust and the effective management and oversight of a growing organisation.

The Trust Board is accountable to the Secretary of State for all schools within the MAT and responsible for compliance with government and ESFA requirements, company law and charity law.

Whilst the Trust Board will always remain accountable, our governance structure allows for the delegation of decisions to the most appropriate body. More details can be found here.

For further information on the Trust's policies please see here.
