The team at GLF Teacher Training are committed to ensuring a fair recruitment and selection process to support aspiring trainee teachers at the point of application and beyond. All candidates will be treated equally with respect and with equality. We understand that on occasions some candidates will need adjustments, and we are wholly committed to offering practical support and compassion.
Some possible conditions that may require specific adjustments include:

- Visually impaired participants
- Hearing impaired participants
- Neurodiverse participants
- Those with learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyscalculia or dysgraphia
- Participants with epilepsy
- Other long term, chronic or mental health conditions
- Gender identity
- Language barriers
Some examples of adjustments that have been offered to candidates include:
- Additional rest breaks
- Providing interview questions in advance of the interview
- Additional time in timed tests, interviews or other assessment activities
- Use of disabled facilities
- Use of a prayer room
- Louder statement of our intentions
