Facilitator Bio - Rob Corbett

I have had the pleasure of teaching Maths for thirty four years in eight comprehensive schools, with fifteen years as a Headteacher in two different secondary schools. Both were in disadvantaged areas of Sussex. I have served as a member of SLT in four schools and have been a governor in five schools over twenty six years. I greatly valued my experience of NPQH, twenty years ago, and am delighted to facilitate the programme now. There is no greater honour than to support the development of the next generation of school leaders.

Since retiring in the summer of 2024 I have been working with the University of Brighton in developing the Teacher Degree Apprenticeship to help schools extend opportunity so a wider group of people can train to experience the joys of teaching.

I hope that my years of experience can be helpful to the participants and help them to reflect on their leadership.
