Facilitates-ECF/NPQLL
I began my teaching career after completing a PGCE with SCITTELS in East London in 2011/12, joining Curwen Primary School as an NQT where I taught across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. During this time, I led initiatives such as the school council, debate club, and philosophy for children, reflecting my passion for pupil voice and critical thinking. I progressed to Year Group Leader, managing a team of eight staff and ensuring the highest outcomes for all pupils through effective leadership, data management, and collaborative practice. My role later expanded to ECT Lead for our Trust, where I designed and delivered the ECT programme, alongside providing coaching, team teaching, and mentor support. I worked with middle leaders on our ‘Further Development’ programme and alongside colleagues from the IOE using research from our classrooms to inform practice. With the introduction of the Early Career Framework in 2020, I became a Visiting Fellow with Ambition Institute, delivering ECT training on behalf of the London District East Teaching School Hub, as well as leading NPQLT programmes.
I am now working for the GLF TSH where I work across schools in West Sussex delivering on the ECF and NPQLL Programmes.
I am deeply committed to teacher development, believing that all educators should have access to the guidance and support needed to continually improve. My approach is grounded in fostering trust, reflection, and open dialogue, enabling teachers to refine their practice and, ultimately, enhance pupil outcomes and opportunities.
