West Sussex Teaching School Hub

GLF Schools

GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

NEW:NPQ Funding Autumn 2025

GLF West Sussex Teaching School Hub are pleased to be delivering all 10 specialist and leadership NPQ programmes in partnership with BPN and Teach First for 2025-26.

The DfE have confirmed that there is only one cohort in 2025-26 which will begin in November and applications for the only 2025 cohort of NPQ programmes are now open. The historic Spring cohort will not be running this academic year so there is only one opportunity for you to undertake an NPQ this year.

Specialist NPQs

The specialist NPQs are designed for teachers and school leaders who want to broaden their expertise in particular areas in teaching:

Leadership NPQs

The leadership NPQ’s are designed for those who are aspiring to progress into senior leadership and beyond;

NPQ Funding

The DfE have confirmed there is funding available for the Autumn 2025 cohort of NPQ programmes.

Funding for autumn 2025 will target those teachers and leaders who work in the most challenging schools or educational settings, serving more disadvantaged communities.

Teachers and leaders from schools that meet the following criteria will be eligible to full scholarship funding for all NPQ programmes:

· the 50% of schools with the highest proportion of students who attract pupil premium funding

· early years and 16 to 19 educational settings identified as having high disadvantage To know whether your school is eligible for funding, please refer to DfE NPQ eligibility lists HERE.

To know whether your school or setting is eligible for funding, please refer to the NPQ DfE eligibility lists HERE

For all other schools who are not included in these groups, the following programmes only, will be fully funded:

· NPQH (Headship)

· NPQSENCO

For any schools who are not eligible for funded places on programmes, the cost associated with each programme in 2024-25 is outlined in the chart below. Please note, these are based on 2024-25 prices and therefore are subject to change. They will be updated as soon as we have more information.
