Specialist NPQs

The specialist NPQs are designed for teachers and school leaders who want to broaden their expertise in particular areas in teaching:

• Leading teaching

• Leading behaviour and culture 
• Leading literacy
• Leading Primary Mathematics 

Leadership NPQs

The leadership NPQ’s are designed for those who are aspiring to progress into senior leadership and beyond;

• Executive Leadership 
• Headship 
• Senior Leadership 
• SENCO 
• Early Years leadership 

NPQ Funding

We are awaiting news from the DfE regarding the funding for NPQ programmes for 2025-26 and whether there will be any bursary funding available. Please use this Expression of Interest Form if you are interested in any of the NPQ programmes for the next cohort. We will be in contact with schools in GLF and West Sussex as soon as further information is available.

We can however confirm that we will be working with the same two providers ; BPN (Best Practice Network) and Teach First.

For any schools who are not eligible for funded places on programmes, the cost associated with each programme in 2024-25 is outlined in the chart below. Please note, these act as a guide but are subject to change and will be updated as soon as we have more information. 


