GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

I started my career as a secondary school science teacher in 1999 and have taught in schools in East Sussex and Bexley. I have experience of middle leadership, as a successful head of Science, and in senior leadership. I was accredited as an SLE and am an experienced, EMCC qualified coach. I have been involved in developing staff and supporting T&L throughout my career, and have led, delivered and Quality Assured CPD for Teachers throughout their career from trainee teachers to Heads.

For ten years I was the deputy Professional Learning Lead for a large multi academy trust before joining GLF West Sussex Teaching School Hub.

I am an experienced NPQ facilitator. I am passionate about education and love supporting teachers in their continuing development.
