Ruth Thornton

Ruth has been in education for 18 years, mainly in the secondary sector, where she has worked as Head of English and Assistant Headteacher.

2Teaching and learning are my true passions, and I’m really committed to supporting trainee teachers as they build their skills and grow in their careers. Over the years, I’ve been lucky to work with some amazing colleagues and students, always aiming to create spaces where both teachers and learners can thrive.

In my current role, I’m excited to support trainee teachers as they start out in their careers, helping them become confident and reflective educators. I’m also really passionate about coaching, using one-on-one support and reflective conversations to help teachers unlock their potential and develop their practice".
