The Thrive Approach
The Thrive Approach is a longstanding programme (25 years) which gives schools a systematic online tool to assess emotional and social development at the right time (whole class) and as a reparative intervention (small groups or individuals).
The course requires a great element of collaborative working as well as sharing experience. Delegates are assessed by the trainer through their participation in activities and their online assignments. If successful in the training, delegates achieve the recognised status of Thrive Licensed Practitioner and join a national network of professionals.
Thrive run regular regional and national network meeting and conferences to ensure that training stays current, with plenty of opportunities to gain insights into new developments. Practitioners have access to online forums to collaborate in finding and providing support with distressed or challenging behaviour in children and young people that they may not have seen before.
