GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Jen is the Deputy Director of GLF West Sussex Teaching School Hub, leading on the Early Career Framework and Appropriate Body functions.  She has 17-years of teaching experience within primary education.  She has held a variety of different posts during this time, including Head of Year, LMT Senior Teacher, and NQT and ITT Lead.  In recent years, Jen has worked closely to support and develop trainee teachers in her SCITT Primary Operational Lead role for GLF Teacher Training, as well as delivering Appropriate Body Services as part of her Trust NQT Lead post.  Central to the roles she has fulfilled, she has always had a keen interest in supporting teachers at every stage of their career.  She is extremely privileged to work on the new Early Career Teacher Programme, provide the opportunity to support the training and development of our future leaders in education!  Jen firmly believes, that the words of Rita Pierson, ‘Every child deserves a champion’, should be extended upon - every teacher deserves a champion too!
